So, after figuring out the time difference, I decided to calculate my travel time to and from Taiyuan. After figuring it out, I'm pretty sure I didn't actually want to know.
From Eugene, OR to Taiyuan, CHINA = 27.5 hrs

*Arrive in Taiyuan, CHINA @ 8:55am on May 26
From Taiyuan, CHINA to Eugene, OR = 37.0 hrs
*Leave Taiyuan, CHINA @ 8:50pm on June 2
*Arrive in Eugene, OR @6:45pm on June 3

Hey,
I live in Taiyuan, work with an NGO doing development work and am good friends with local bmx bikers. My wife and children live here as well. I myself prefer mountain biking as you'll see the terrain is perfect for. Anyway, these local bikers are keen to get to know profesionals from the outside, but as things do go here, there are no tickets being sold for your event as they did not plan any seating!!:) Anyway, if you need anything or would like to hook up for a local meal and meet some of these guys I'll leave my home number and cell number. 13834647270, 5581110
